Conversation practice, by text

Practise the conversation before you have it.

Text conversations with someone who can get bored, get uncomfortable, or decide they're done. You get a score, and the two moments that moved it.

No waitlist. Bring your own key

Every conversation this runs costs real money in AI usage. A free tier would either be too small to practise with, or quietly turn into something you're paying for. So instead you'll bring your own key, and the app itself costs nothing to use. How that'll work

You pass by having a good conversation without making the other person uncomfortable. That's the whole win condition.

Every rep is scored on six things

Opening18/20
Listening15/20
Reading interest7/20
Respect20/20
Humour11/20
Leaving well14/15

Leaving well is worth points. Most people have never practised the exit, and it's the rep that makes the rest possible.

Example rep shown above. Not a live result

They can lose interest

The person you're talking to isn't waiting to be impressed. Push after they've cooled and your score goes down, the same way it would anywhere else.

Rejection is a free scenario

It's not behind a paywall and it never will be. It's the rep that proves what this is, and hiding it would be indefensible.

Nobody sees your reps

No feed, no profiles, and nobody reads your transcripts. The only score you're chasing is the one you got last time.

No free tier, no waitlist

Why you'll bring your own key

Every conversation on Social Reps is a live call to an AI model, and every one of those calls costs real money to run. A free tier would either be too small to be worth practising with, or it would quietly turn into a cost passed on to you. Neither is honest.

So the plan is simple: you bring your own API key, Social Reps uses it to run your conversations, and the app itself costs nothing beyond that. No subscription, no credits, no upsell.

The key is meant to stay in your own browser and never touch a server we run. That's how it's being built, though it isn't live yet to prove it.

There's no list to join. Social Reps isn't live. This page exists to explain the plan before the product does, not to collect your email for later.
